Windcatcher, Plaza España

The urban intervention connects Plaza de España to a broader spatial network within Madrid’s Historic Center through a pedestrian corridor and a Tower. It creates a dialogue with the existing urban structure and abstract but essential materials for living such as wind, sun, ground and water to improve the living conditions in inner and outer spaces in such an important public space.
